Chaya, Tree Spinach

A succulent perennial shrub or small tree with showy cut foliage in heavily divided fans. It sends out small clusters of white flowers, a nice bonus. Sunny location dry between watering. The leaves can be cooked and eaten, but are toxic raw, similar to spinach.  Apparently there are more than a few forms of this plant around, this selection has more sharply divided leaves.
