Duranta stenostachya 'Green and Gold', Compact Brazilian Sky Flower - golden center variegation

An compact evergreen shrub from Brazil with an upright arching habit, grows slowly to 6’. Light blue flowers in the spring and summer, golden berries for the fall.  Full sun. Laces out nicely, but can also be pruned as a compact hedge. This form has a smaller leaf with golden variegation down center. Likes full sun, but will grow in part shade if bright. Will only tolerate a light frost. I would grow this plant just for the foliage alone. The berries are poisonous to humans, but are said to be very bitter. The flowers draw hummingbirds.
