 Blue Sage Shrub

When the tropical plants in the garden are looking a little off, this magnificent  shrub bring gorgeous blue color to the winter garden. A winter blooming shrubby perennial to 3’ - 5’ or more with intense blue flower clusters at the tips. The broad foliage is very attractive. Cut back in the spring when done blooming to encourage bushiness. Part shade in hot dry climates. Likes well amended moist soil. Easy to grow. Tolerates on a light frost. In the Acanthus family, not related to salvia, know commonly as sage.
