Golden Pheasant Berry

A new golden form of Pheasant Berry. It can grow 5’ or more with an upright arching habit. Attractive hanging purple flowers form bell in bell with white centers. Fall berry clusters attract birds. Full sun or part shade, regular moisture. I would grow this for the golden foliage alone. Asian. Does well in cooler parts of the country, in warmer regions maybe give it a little shade. Although when I grew this in inland San Diego it reseeded in the full sun in decomposed granite and grew fine; although it was getting water from irrigation. Still, much tougher than I gave it credit for.
