Tecomanthe dendrophylla

New Guinea Trumpet Vine

Tropical vines with large clusters of 1' wide pink flowers that hang in clusters that emerge directly from the trunk. Needs a frost free location, can grow quite large twining 30' or more. It's from New Guinea. A very cool uncommon vine, popular in Hawaii, but I have seen it growing in California. Species is unclear also looks like Tecomanthe hillii, Fraser Island Creeper from Eastern Queensland Australia.
