A tropical foliage plant from Mexico, that looks like a ginger but is related to Wandering Jew. The broad wide leaves have a strong white variegation. Grows upright to 24” or more with leaves clustered at the top, suckers from the base like a bamboo. Likes amended soil, part shade with regular water.  Very frost sensitive, keep in a protected area.  Closely related to Blue Ginger (also not a ginger). Used to be know as Campelia zanonia. Easy to grow from cuttings.
