Dwarf Purple Top

A perfect dwarf form of the ever popular perennial with airy, branching stems to 24’" tall instead of 5'. The bright purple flowers attract butterflies. Grows best in the full sun. Needs little water once established. A chance seedling from ‘Vintage Green Farms’ in Vista, CA in 2004 - Sterile, mildew resistant.  Makes a wonder border plant, great in containers. I like to use it in the foreground with the large form in the distance. Bloom non-stop, cut back occasionally to encourage bushiness. This plant is patented and may not be asexually reproduced (cuttings) and sold. If it's for your own garden, prop it all you want.  PP 18124 This is a great plant. Can be grown as an annual anywhere. South America
