A selection of Croton with a narrow leaf form with strong gold spotting on the foliage. Grows as a shrub to six feet. It thrives best in warm environments that provide ample heat. It can tolerate temperatures down to the low 40s (Fahrenheit) but is most suited for warm regions such as Hawaii, Southern California, and Florida. Crotons flourish in bright light combined with high humidity and demonstrate an excellent adaptability to a variety of tropical garden settings. Bright shade makes it a good choice for gardeners looking to add color and texture to a shady bed. Regular feeding promotes its vibrant leaf colors and supports healthy growth, although mature specimens are quite resilient and can withstand occasional lapses in maintenance. As a member of the Euphorbia family, this plant prefers well-draining soil to encourage optimal growth and help keep its foliage looking lush and attractive throughout the growing season.
