A compact bushy species from Brazil with an amazing leaf texture. Great outdoors in the tropics, but also popular as a house plant and as a terrarium plant. It likes high humidity and clean water. This fern-like plant is not really a fern, but technically in the Phylum Lycopodiopsida. Easy to grow, best in moist soil, at least 50% shade, in an acid soil high in organic matter. Grown from cuttings. Does well in frost-free areas with good quality water. Common to find the plant escaped under the benches in greenhouses.
