Bougainvillea 'Mary Palmer's Enchantment Var.'

Mary Palmer's Enchantment Bougainvillea is a variegated selection with flower bracts of two colors, some come out white and some come out pink, a very cool trick. Each leaf has a bold golden spash in the leaf center. The vines can grow impressively long, reaching 20 feet or more in length. To encourage a more abundant and consistent blooming cycle, it’s important to maintain the plant on the drier side, avoiding excessive watering. This striking variety makes a truly stunning vine when carefully trained along a fence or allowed to spill gracefully over a sunny wall or trellis. It thrives best in full sun conditions, which are essential for producing vibrant and prolific flowering throughout the growing season. The plant is very showy and thrives in both intense sun and heat, adapting well to virtually any soil type as long as it offers good drainage. Keep in mind that bougainvilleas have sharp thorns, so thoughtful and strategic placement is necessary to prevent any potential issues or injuries. And while well relatively carefree once mature, young plants often benefit from regular applications of fertilizer to get the ball going. Cut out any reverts.
