Pink Radermachera, China Doll
Radermachera kunming, commonly known as Pink Radermachera or China Doll, is a charming upright shrub or small tree native to Southeast Asia. The clusters of delicate light pink flowers with a soft orange throat, emit a really nice sweet fragrance. These blossoms appear almost all year and contrast beautifuly with the shiny dark green foliage. It is exceptionally easy to cultivate and thrives best in full sun to filtered light conditions. Providing average water and regular fertilizer will help it grow healthily, but the plant is very resilient once established to drought conditions. It's important to protect this plant from freezing temperatures, as it is sensitive to cold. Makes a great houseplant, container plant as well as a fantastic hedge/ screening plant. Can grow to 20’ of more if left unpruned. It grows tall and narrow when young and develops a broad crown with age.
