Quesnelia quesneliana

Stunning, densely clustered bright red-pink flowers emerge in spring, rising just above the foliage for a bold display. The plants typically reach 2 to 3 feet tall with a similar spread, forming a substantial, attractive clump. Long, strap-like leaves with finely serrated margins add texture and contrast to the overall habit. The colored portion of each spike measures about 6 to 8 inches long and remains showy even from a distance. The bloom period is extended, often lasting for a couple of months.
