Acalypha hispida

Chenille Plant — a tender shrub with large, velvety leaves and long, red tassels that hang gracefully from the leaf axils. It can grow to 8 feet or more but could be regularly pruned to keep it compact, making it excellent for containers. Easily propagated from cuttings, it prefers a warm position and should be protected from frost.
