Purple Foliage Form of Aechmea fasciata

An open vase bromeliad with wide bladed dark, almost purple leaves.  Grows about 18” tall with along lasting pink and blue inflorescence.  Best in bright light. Grow in bark or cinder. This is a rare form of one of the most commonly sold bromeliad in the 1980's.
