Black Vriesea

A showy Bromeliad, used to called a Vriesea,  has very dark burgundy wide foliage, almost black. Usually grown in bark or mounted on tree branches. Needs tropical conditions with high humidity and perfect drainage. Flowers on the tall spike are small, plant is grown for great foliage.
