These are tropical evergreen shrubs from Central America with wonderful structure. The finely textured foliage and bright red powder puff flowers make this a popular ornamental in warm temperate and tropical gardens. Tolerates a light front well, can get 10' tall, laces out well, easy to grow, just put in in a nice sunny spot. Drought tolerant once established.
