Ti Plant

This selection has upright green leaves with white splashes. Best in bright shade. A strong upright grower. Named after the somewhat derogatory term for a Caucasian in Hawaii, it means newcomer (white). The term is being taken back and holds little power nowadays. These are tropical foliage plants with tall canes to 4’ or more. Signature plant of the tropics, in the lily family, commonly called Ti (pronounced tee). Bright shade, but can take more sun in the tropics and at the coast in Southern California.
