Ti Plant

This old selection has dark broad foliage, almost black with a red flush, heads are large and showy. Best in full sun or bright shade, bait for snails. A big robust plant, very easy to grow. Color varies depending on conditions. These are tropical foliage plants with tall canes to 4’ or more. Signature plant of the tropics, in the lily family, commonly called Ti (pronounced tee). Bright shade, but can take more sun in the tropics and at the coast in Southern California.
