Ruby Red Club Moss

A low growing species from Brazil with stunning burgundy color on the underside of the leaf. It has a tight clumping habit. Best in bright shade and regular water. Great outdoors in the tropics, but also popular as a house plant and as a terrarium plant. It likes high humidity and clean water. This fern-like plant is not really a fern, but technically in the Phylum Lycopodiopsida. Easy to grow, best in moist soil, at least 50% shade, in an acid soil high in organic matter. Grown from cuttings. Does well in frost-free areas with good quality water. Common to find the plant escaped under the benches in greenhouses.
