Stenochlaena tenuifolia

An unusual evergreen fern with a climbing habit, given something to climb on, preferring trunks of plant with a fibrous texture. Best in shade with regular water and well amended soil. Light green fronds with a long midrib. From Tropical Africa (Zimbabwe). I used to grow this in Southern California, so it tolerates cold and dry air really well, but also does really well here in Hawaii. Would also make a good hanging basket or house plant.
