Ficus salicaria (F. subulata)

This small fig is from tropical India, and is enthusiastically used in bonsai. The small narrow leaves, small round fruit and fat little trunk make it well suited for this venue. Grow outdoors in part shade or full sun in the tropics. Easy to grow, but it is somewhat slow. (Also know asF. salicifoliaand F. neriifolia). One of the few plants that can be grown as an indoor Bonsai, must be in bright light.
