Gardenias are tropical shrubs from Asia, this selection is very compact with small 2" single white fragrant flowers. Prefers warm conditions, rich acid soil, regular water and regular feeding. Great in pots, likes high humidity. Full sun. It's shrubby habit is well suited for small hedges, can grow to about two feet tall, maybe more with time. Could be used to make a tropical bonsai.
