Hawaiian Native Red Hibiscus, Koki'o 'ula 'ula

A selection of a Hawaiian native Hibiscus with intensely red flowers, the species is usually more orange. We got this selection from White Cloud Farms in Pahoa Hawaii. Koki'o 'ula 'ula grows into a small tree, bushy with rumpled richly green leaves and 2 in (5 cm) scarlet red flowers, shrubby to 6' or more, best in the sun.
