From the Philippines, this large tropical shrub has super tropical looking flowers. It has a somewhat lax weeping habit with large hanging pink flower clusters with pink bracts produced from the tips year round. Large pointed deep green waxy foliage have pronounced veins. The look best when planted in bright shade. Needs good drainage, can be grown epiphytically with enough humidity. Easy to grow in the tropics like HI & FL, but I have seen this bloom in warm microclimates in CA.
