Tropical shrubs from Tropical Asia. Related to coffee these interesting plants are grown for their colorful flower bracts, the actual flower is a small yellow star, but is upstaged by the showier white bracts. Can grow to 5' or more, somewhat vining, can be tipped to make bushy. Full sun, blooms in the summer and fall. One of the most cold hardy of the bunch. Grows in Southern California in frost free zones.
