An evergreen conifer from North America with a conical form to 20’ and a soft textured foliage. Does well under dryer, warmer conditions as well as wet. Full sun or part, regular water with amended soil. Grows at a steady rate. Great in an Asian style garden, popular in Bonsai. Would also make a good conical topiary. Best in full sun, but will tolerate some shade.

We had this mis-identified as Cryptomeria japonica ‘Elegans’
