Manihut 'Cuban White'(dark leaf form)

Manihut 'Cuban White' has very dark foliage and a white root. It’s a tropical large shrub or small tree, particularly popular in regions such as Hawaii and Florida. This plant does not tolerate temperatures much below 50°F and prefers a warm climate. It is primarily grown for its striking new foliage, which emerges in a deep, almost black color that creates a dramatic visual contrast. In temperate climates, it can be cultivated as a summer annual and has the potential to grow up to 5 feet tall within just one growing season. The root of Manihot esculenta is used to produce tapioca, although it is important to note that the root is toxic until it has been properly processed.
