Red Sorrowless Tree, Ashoka Tree

A rare flowering tree from Thailand with a compact bushy habit and showy reddish-orange flowers in the spring or more in very warm places. It's a legume, considered a sacred tree to many. A small tree usually less than 20', best in the tropics with well drained soil. New leaves emerge pinkish and weeping.
