Tropical perennial with large arrowhead foliage that’s almost black. Part shade in hot areas. Grows up to 4’ with enough water and food.  Loves heat, nitrogen and water, so give it plenty of all of the above well while actively growing. The roots can be used to make Poi, but I grow it just for the foliage. Can go dormant in cold winters, lift roots and store dry while dormant. Easy to propagate from runners.
