Flowers are tubular, pendulous bells with 2 to 5 vibrant red flowers clustered per umbel. This small, bushy shrub produces very showy and consistently regular blooms throughout the growing season. The elliptic, dark green, glossy foliage is relatively small, measuring approximately 1.5 inches by 3/4 inch (40 x 20 mm), with a distinctive scaly texture on the underside. It thrives best in filtered sunlight with ideal drainage conditions such as bark or clean cinder, and it is important to protect the plant from frost damage. These cloud forest plants prefer to be kept moist using clean water, but care should be taken not to overwater, and it is crucial to avoid burying the base of the plant. This variety is a hybrid between R. lochiae and R. pauciflorum, bred and named by Graham Snell in Victoria, Australia.
