Variegated Octopus Agave

A large cold hardy succulent native to the southwest. Attractive medium agave that forms a light-green rosette to 5’ wide (or more) with a really nice cream yellow variegation. Spineless, so it makes a people friendly landscape plant. Excellent container plant. Drought tolerant. Full sun or part shade. Does not pup, the only way to propagate is to wait for flowering (may take more than 8 years) and plantlets will form on the 10’ plus tall vertical flowering stalk. Great plant, stunning in the garden. Rare.

Shipping note: The leaves on this species are very brittle, and some leaf damage from shipping is to be expected.
