Tillandsia neglecta

A small species with gray compact foliage that forms a tight clump. The inflorescence is a very showy deep salmon pink and bright lavender blue flowers in full clusters. The leaf sheath bases are very dark. Best in full sun or bright shade. Needs excellent air circulation and regular moisture at least three times a week. Can be hosed down or misted, even morning dew may be enough in humid areas. Tolerates a light frost.
