Pinecone Hanging Bromeliad

An unusual bromeliad with long narrow foliage with spines that hang down about three feet. Attractive small flowers are orange and yellow, they form a small edible fruit that tastes something like pineapple. So great in hanging baskets or mounted in a tree. The undulating foliage really adds a lots of interesting form, makes a wonderful shadow against a wall.
