Variegated Bert Bromeliad

A bromeliad with gray green foliage with light banding and a bold white variegation down the center, the plant grows upright with small yellow and red flowers at maturity. Part shade or almost full sun in mild climates. Needs good drainage, grow in a bark or cinder medium. Excellent mounted in trees. The variegation is not always stable, but is stunning. (Kiff 6/94)
