This is a selection that has a matte green leaf that is smaller than the common green form with large shiny leaves. A better landscape plant, more branching in habit. Can grow to 7', very full in habit. These are tropical foliage plants with tall canes to 4’ or more. Signature plant of the tropics, in the lily family, commonly called Ti (pronounced tee). Bright shade, but can take more sun in the tropics and at the coast in Southern California.
