Evergreen shrubs from Malaysia, with colorful large waxy foliage. Needs fairly tropical conditions to do well. Popular in Hawaii and Florida, but they also seem to do well in some warm microclimates in California. Bright light and high humidity, can grow to 6' tall or more. Best with rich soil and water. Usually grows to 4' tall, this selection has very narrow foliage with yellow spots. Sun or part shade. Tropical, will not tolerate a hard frost, best with warm conditions. A narrow leafed sport of C. 'Golddust'
