Ficus microcarpa var. crassifolia 'Green Mound'

An unusual species with waxy green round leaves, and small round fruit. Great  as a tropical bonsai specimen. It can be grown as a houseplant under bright conditions. In areas without frost it can be grown outside and In the ground can grow to 20’ or more. Prunes great. Bright light or full sun. This came to us labeled Ficus thumbergiana from the old Stalling nursery in Encintias, CA. There are also low trailing selections of this species.
