Brazilian Hibiscus Shrub

A tall narrow growing tropical shrub in the Hibiscus family with broad thick foliage and small red flowers that emerge from the trunk. The flowers are small and stay somewhat closed. Attractive, but more of a curiosity, unless viewed at close range. This makes it ideal for containers, or planted near seating in a patio. Full sun or part shade. Somewhat rare.
