El Salvador . Related to reed stem orchids, thin leaves and warty leaf sheaths that cover the stems.  Cool growing. Best grown epiphitically, they require frequent watering, flowers are lavender with orange and purple with yellow tipped sepals.  Frost hardy to a least 28 F.
