Giant Dutchman's Pipe Vine

An evergreen vine from South American with a corky trunk and huge 24” hanging flowers in the summer that resemble an elephant’s ears. The color is a blend of brown and maroon with a slight lemon scent. Grow on an arbor, and flowers will hang from the roof. Regular water, full sun. This one is a really good vine for an overhead arbor, the flowers hang down through the structure, make sure to give enough room to get by these flowers are huge. A definite conversation piece. Will tolerate only a light frost. Full sun, easy to grow.
